Welcome to North Staffs Powerboat. For all your powerboat training needs. We can help you! Beginners through to Instructors - we can train you to meet the high standards of the RYA Powerboat Scheme whilst you receive professional training in an enjoyable relaxed surrounding. Ages from 8 years and upwards, single applicants to group booking, we cater for everyone.



Although not an RYA Training Centre, we have been assisting sailing clubs for over 10 years now and have been actively supporting powerboat training in the Midlands Area, in particular North Staffordshire. NSPB has effectively been a mobile training platform for numerous clubs to suppliment their own Instructors and has taken on the requirement for training safety boat crews and general powerboat drivers. We have also helped private individuals who contact us and request a 'quick Level 2 Course'. This is no problem. We have strong ties with local clubs who with ourselves are flexible to run courses on an 'on demand' basis aswell as our usual programmed courses with those clubs. The club will be an RYA Training Centre. We operate as a non profit making organisation and put all income earned back into the equipment we provide on the courses. This ultimately enables users of our equipment to explore the uses of GPS, Chartplotters, Depth Sounders / Contour Equipment, VHF usage, naviagtion and much more. All of our boats are equipped to a high standard as we operate under the RYA guidelines which ensures that you as a paying customer get:

We work closely with the West Midlands RYA Coaching Team, where I am a Trainer and have an active involvement with training and the powerboating programme for the region. As a trainer I also have contacts in other regions and should we not be able to assist you we can put you in touch with another trainer local to you. We also offer a Safety Cover service where we will assist or manage your safety support on the water for corporate or club events.
