Download a picture by clicking on it. Users of Windows XP can right click on the downloaded file and select 'set as background'. Other users can save the image into their C:windows folder. Then use the control panel to select 'appearance & themes', then the 'display settings' and finally 'desktop' to select the downloaded file for setting as your background or screen saver

These files are large files. If you are using a 57k Modem they could take several minutes to download. Mind you they are worth it though.
